I'm sure I'm not on my lonesome when I wish Playlovers the greatest of success with their forthcoming production of Beauty and the Beast. To see one of our own putting on a show at the Regal is fantastic! I know they're not the first to do so, but it's up to all of us involved in the local theatre community to offer our support to our colleagues by telling the whole of Perth about this must see and support event. PS: And before I'm asked the obvious...yes, I shall certainly be going, and before you ask Walter...No, I'm not involved in any way with this production. cheers Johnny Grim A lad in sane productions

Saw Opening Night

Well I must admit... I was pretty upset that on Wednesday at 4pm I was told by a friend that opening night was cancelled! I think more angry though that I was not contacted by the Regal/Ticketek about the cancellation. I was told through the grapevine! So I exchanged my ticket for Thursday night instead. Well WHAT a performance!! I thought that $60 was expensive for a ticket but I can totally see why they set the costs so high! The costumes and sets were stunning! and the acting/singing/dancing was equally of high standard. My only criticism is that there were a few issues with the sound and some of the scene changes were a little slow(but once you see the sheer size of the sets you can see why). Well Done Playlovers! Another great show! To be honest I don't give a fat rats what you do with your profits you totally jusified your $60 to me. For those that have spent lengthy time investigating/bitching and slagging off this organisation in this forum for charging what they have... Get over it! I would LOVE Louis Vuitton matching travel luggage but I am not about to post blogs slagging them off for their high prices. I have booked again to take my sister and her kids. I can't wait!
