I'm sure I'm not on my lonesome when I wish Playlovers the greatest of success with their forthcoming production of Beauty and the Beast. To see one of our own putting on a show at the Regal is fantastic! I know they're not the first to do so, but it's up to all of us involved in the local theatre community to offer our support to our colleagues by telling the whole of Perth about this must see and support event. PS: And before I'm asked the obvious...yes, I shall certainly be going, and before you ask Walter...No, I'm not involved in any way with this production. cheers Johnny Grim A lad in sane productions

Hear hear John. It scares me when I think of the huge costs involved in mounting such a show at a venue like the Regal. It could quite easily break a club if it all went awry. I know a few people in the cast, and wish them all the best. Whether I'll ante up the $60 admission fee is a whole other story...... www.meltheco.org.au
