I'm sure I'm not on my lonesome when I wish Playlovers the greatest of success with their forthcoming production of Beauty and the Beast. To see one of our own putting on a show at the Regal is fantastic! I know they're not the first to do so, but it's up to all of us involved in the local theatre community to offer our support to our colleagues by telling the whole of Perth about this must see and support event. PS: And before I'm asked the obvious...yes, I shall certainly be going, and before you ask Walter...No, I'm not involved in any way with this production. cheers Johnny Grim A lad in sane productions

They only wanted Perth to have an opportunity to see this Disney production, as Perth always gets left out from the big productions which make it interstate. We also wanted to support The Save The Children Charity. Why take away all the good intentions and twist everything into Spiteful or hurtful insults. Instead of trying to bring this company down, buy a ticket and support your community theatre! Or stay away and keep your mouth shut!"

Frustrated, I think you need to re read the comments from Gaffa, and allow Skeene to have his/her opinion. Some people believe that paying over $30 for a community theatre event is too extreme. I, on the other hand would pay over $30 depending on the standard of the production. I guess what Skeene is trying to say that $600K for a community theatre production borders on the costs to mount a small professional show, and in most cities this amount would never be spent. I don't believe anyone who has posted has intended to be spiteful or hurtful.

Hope all goes well with the show 'frustrated', and that you slay em in the aisles.
