I know what you mean. I am concerned over two major issues. One/ many of these young people put personal mobile phones numbers and e-mail addresses on this site. This makes them vulnerable for two reasons first they do not understand how the industry really works so can easily fall for the unscrupulous line and second they are so enthusiastic they tend to react without thought. The second issue is that they all also seem to suffer from the reward without work syndrome. Mietta for example seems to want to jump straight to the audition stage for major productions without doing any of the hard work that we all know is required. Sure luck plays a part and some notable figures have acheived much from a sheer luck start, Johnny Depp and Bob Hoskin come to mind but this is very rare. Even all the training and networking simply gives you a slightly improved chance to be lucky really. For every Hugh Jackman that makes it an equally talented person never attracts the right attention and struggles for the rest of their life. I think we need to keep giving these young people the best advice we can and hope that it sinks in. Maybe we will see them on the big screen one day. Is that all there is?
