"Go out and have fun".

"Go out and have fun". Exactly. But, get out there and learn. There is more to acting than getting on stage and pretending. And, if you want to learn from what Heath Ledger did: he studied drama at school. Hugh Jackman completed a university degree in Communications then studied drama at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. For some Australian female role models among the big names: Naomi Watts took acting classes. Judy Davis: trained at NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Arts) as did Cate Blanchett & Toni Collette. Nicole Kidman was one of those very lucky and extraordinary talents who went straight to theatre as a teenager, and got early film roles. Acting is fun. Learning the craft of acting is fun. Acting on stage or screen is fun. But it is also hard work. It is art. And most of the best actors do the hard yards by training for it. If you want to get into acting now and start learning: get into a youth theatre group. That's another source for building up experience. "Hoff" doesn't sound like a very mature person! Jim
