12 year old girl lookiing for small speaking TV or Movie role.
Mon, 14 May 2007, 07:04 pmHi my name is -------. I'm 12 years old and i live in Melbourne. I have blond hair and green eyes. I'm looking for a TV or movie part not for money but for experience. lately at my school i was awarded Best Actress in a Supporting Role and have been in many school plays. I know i might not sound like the best option because i don't have that much experience but please if you give me a go i won't let you down!
Please contact me at ---------- or on my mobile --------- (weekends or 12.35pm - 1pm and 4pm - 9pm weekdays only thanks)
Thank You
p.s i'm not the sensetive type so if you take me i won't be offended if you don't want me once you meet me.
Institutions
Tue, 15 May 2007, 01:30 pmI assume Daniel was directing that comment at me.
I was not bad mouthing institutions of education...in fact I fully support anyone who wishes to pursue the arts through uni or tafe. What I in-fact said is that you don't need to spend a fortune on courses to learn things you can learn through "on the job" training.
I was never smart enough to get into uni according to my TEE results when I finished high school, so I had to think outside the box. If I can actually go to uni, I’ll be in as many uni films as possible. Some have been fantastic, others have been learning experiences but none of them were a waste of time.
The point here is just because someone has gone to uni/tafe/school does not mean that they are necessarily better at a job then someone who hasn’t...there are many different ways to learn and I was just saying that on the job training is a good way of doing it.
So in closing... The message here is learn and get experience, however you want to do that is up to you.
Good Luck
Keep Smiling :)
