Stage Door School in Subiaco
Mon, 26 Dec 2005, 08:10 amI'm considering doing the part time musical theatre course at Stage Door School in Subiaco (Perth) next year. Anyone completed this course before and if so, was it a worthwhile investment? It's going to be quite costly as you are required to have a singing lesson every week on top of the course. I hear their students have quite a good record in WAAPA success.

Hi guys
i am doing mus th at stage door and over the last few years 11 students from the courses have gone into uni level courses in WA and overseas. Singapore (4) Cotrary to the opinions above it is well organised with great teachers and a no nonsense approach. Ian Westrip is the teacher of singing and he was at WAAPA for 18 yrs so there you go! Dancing is great as is acting with Michael Loney and George Shevtsov (check google) Its working for me hey and i noticed the guys bagging it either are in WAAPA thanks to SD or didnt get in well who are they then???? Get in touch with them is my advice.
