will people please stop advertising themselfs on the forums

please. people like me and others come on this site to find Auditions. If somebody needs someone for a play they will advertise... do you think that they only want to audition one person? If you want to be in something then just check the forums again.

Or could someone make another forum just so people can advertise themselfs and people who are trying to find work can do it easier.

please don't leave comments on this thing cause im sure people dont want to see this every time they log on... Thanks anyway

I'm nudged... although wondering if the casting couch isn't something we could promote as filling a role here?

Maybe what i need to do is look at ways to promote the couch a little better?

I've also wondered a little about offering an option for people's profiles to be made public... tick a box in your profile and it becomes available for anyone to see, not just registered members.

Realistically, I suspect none of these suggestions will stop people avidly promoting themselves in all sorts of ways that some of us might consider inappropriate or suboptimal.

Thoughts anyone?
