will people please stop advertising themselfs on the forums
Tue, 5 June 2007, 09:05 pmplease. people like me and others come on this site to find Auditions. If somebody needs someone for a play they will advertise... do you think that they only want to audition one person? If you want to be in something then just check the forums again.
Or could someone make another forum just so people can advertise themselfs and people who are trying to find work can do it easier.
please don't leave comments on this thing cause im sure people dont want to see this every time they log on... Thanks anyway
Sticky?
Tue, 12 June 2007, 08:46 pmCertainly is sticky post functionality available... although, I expect that Na is right.
Looking at the traffic, some people arrive at the site, read two or three comments and post a reply. People arrive at the site via all sorts of pages, so the chances are they wouldn't necessarily see a sticky post for example at the top of the forums page or even at the top of the home page.
Some time back I did look at adding some functionality that would scan topics and comments as they were added for particular words and phrases and present a link to an FAQ item and a preview of the post encouraging people to check the FAQ before posting.
I still think we should be plugging the casting couch and allowing people to publish their profiles.
:-)
