will people please stop advertising themselfs on the forums

please. people like me and others come on this site to find Auditions. If somebody needs someone for a play they will advertise... do you think that they only want to audition one person? If you want to be in something then just check the forums again.

Or could someone make another forum just so people can advertise themselfs and people who are trying to find work can do it easier.

please don't leave comments on this thing cause im sure people dont want to see this every time they log on... Thanks anyway

I understand what all are saying. This site is ranked highly in the arts community of Aust and should be able to be used as an advertising ground for self promotion but there is a difference between someone posting something along the lines of "Im a 13yr guy/girl looking for work in theatre. I can sing if that helps. I live in NT . . . .etc, etc" And then someone posting on behalf of a company or posting for auditions that are being held. Maybe a forum to allow for an advertisement of self promotion - or categorise people on their "skills" in certain areas. etc. But it is anonying when you log in and go the recent posts and see about 8 or so forum posts saying the above (i'm 13. . . .) and not many for actual auditions or reviews or discussion etc. Just my thoughts. Feel free to disagree or tear to shreads. ~ Tari The Writer is a child forever listening at the keyhole of the adult world.
