Strand lamp base P 28 for Patt 23/123/223 etc.
Mon, 23 Feb 2009, 10:40 pmI have just ordered a batch of direct replacement lamp bases to suit the Patt 23/123/ 223/45/264 Strand lights and they will cost under $20 each and this will make it economical to repair these older lights as currently a similar base costs $80 and then you have to re-drill holes to make it fit.Anyone who may be able to use these please contact me.

We still have many Patt 23's and 123's in service some of which have broken lamp bases. Are these replacement lamp bases a P28s or a bipin type?
Unfortunately someone replaced the leads in many of our Patt 23's with PVC 2C+E and then put 1000W lamps in them to boot, fortunately they have generally shorted out and tripped the dimmer rack before catching fire.
