This was in the recent Playlovers newsletter - too true !!

Critical behaviour
It is a sad day when one of the several no gooders out there amongst our theatrical world decide to get on Theatre Australia and other networks to just bad mouth and say negative things about a particular theatre, person, or show, etc.

Whilst everyone is still entitled to their opinion, what can possibly be gained by the negative, nasty and rude remarks left by the ‘unverified’... ????

Is it the no-gooders role to attempt to shut down a thriving voluntary thespian network?

What sort of an example is this critical behaviour showing our youth except possibly teaching them another meaning to ‘exit stage left’.

Community theatre has a duty to encourage, respect, guide and provide support and constructive criticism with an outcome for growth.

If you know someone that likes to behave in this unruly fashion, then please, encourage them to stop this anti thespian behaviour and show some respect.

Have you ever thought that these low intelligent posters maybe dyslexic and your reinforcement to their bile-laden invective engenders is ignorant. I do apologise if I can not spell and my sentences and grammar are somewhat under par.. There are many people on this site that string together words that pretty much 99.9% of the public do not use. Lets be honest, a conversation with you and people like you over a candlelit dinner must be an evening's delight for most people. What planet are you from Tim? I didn't realise that I was being marked. I don't really care what people think. I was merely pointing out that there is a 'Click' system in Perth's community theatre and most of you out there know there is. Most of the observers that have read through the threads agree that there is a 'Click' in the community. It's embarrassing. It's been going on for years. It needs to stop. If it doesn't stop Tim, the ITA and Finleys won't be running in 3 years time. You and others are pushing clubs and their members away. I have endless conversations with club members and they have voiced their disappointment with the ITA and their policies. Let's get it back to how it was 10 years ago, when it was fun. The fun has gone. Not just for me but for many members I have spoken to. Again I apologise for my grammar 'But, I gota talk the way I feel' Noel Coward.. Thank you for your words Mr Stoppard..
