15 year old requires acting job
Thu, 15 May 2003, 06:18 pmI am 15 years old and love acting, but have not been able to do much of it as of yet. I am wondering how I could get an acting role or if there were any spots available. I live in NSW, it would need to be within the state. Can any one help?

It's great to see that you are so keen to "werk" and that you stayed up until after midnight to post your request, but sadly I doubt if you would be able to understand any script given to you to read. Scripts are not usually written in mobile phone shorthand, but then again, maybe you have discovered a new genre of theatre. I have no wish to sound like one of your (obviously ignored) teachers, but I really feel that you should spend less time on the computer late at night and more time concentrating on your English homework.
It might assist you to fill in the forms required to join a theatre group in a way that a Director would be able to read.
