15 year old requires acting job
Thu, 15 May 2003, 06:18 pmI am 15 years old and love acting, but have not been able to do much of it as of yet. I am wondering how I could get an acting role or if there were any spots available. I live in NSW, it would need to be within the state. Can any one help?

I am Disgraced by the poor efforts these girls have attempted to be a an actress.
IÂ’m 18 and IÂ’m an actress. Being an actor involves a lot of work and it have nothing to do with how skinny or tanned you are because if you canÂ’t act you wont get @!#$ for work. Doing a few plays at school is not training! You need to go to classes and workshops and work on it everyday if you want to be an actress.
Don’t expect yourself to become famous because you most likely wont but if you really want to be an actress it shouldn’t matter whether you become famous or not. What should matter is when you turn up to an audition you know what your doing and if they tell you to scratch your ass you do it! If you girls really want to be an actress get off you asses and start going to classes then after a few years get an agent. The work is not going to come to you. NO ONE is going to walk up to you in the street and say “oh my god, I’ve just found the leading girl for my new movie”.
Grow a brain and do something about it.
