Insurance question
Fri, 27 June 2008, 09:53 pmI'm hunting down some PL providers, and was wondering if anyone has bought a policy from
http://www.community-care.com.au/
I just went to do a quote, and it seems a bit strange to me that they accept payment straight away - submit a few details and you can pay immediately, without having anyone review it before hand. The site is recommended by an old community insurance thing run by the government, and I see it listed on another bunch of arts sites, but it does seem odd that there's no reviewing system.
Any recommendations/opinions?
They normally don't review

insurance Companies are in the business of hiring out umbrellas, until it looks like rain - then they take them back!
You can be sure they have crossed their i's & dotted their t's. By having generic rules of claim & exemptions, that one can almost guarantee, will void all and/or any claims.
It's purely a numbers game to them. unless you have given full & truthfully disclosure, so as not to increase their risk! Even down to what you had for breakfast, prior to taking it out. You'd be better off, whistling into the wind, witch could give more satisfaction!
