Help with Public Liability
Sun, 30 Jan 2005, 10:43 amWe need to find a comapny who will provide Public Liability Insurance at a reasonable rate, we've been quoted $1200 which for a small outfit like ours is too expenisive. Can anyone help with any contacts

You don't say which state you are in, the bulk insurance scheme run by the Association of Community Theatre (ACT) in NSW is about the cheapest and that's $1400, which does include voluntary workers as well, From memory the Public Liability bit is about 70% of that figure, but you have to be a member of the ACT or an affiliated organisation to participate.
