Help with Public Liability
Sun, 30 Jan 2005, 10:43 amWe need to find a comapny who will provide Public Liability Insurance at a reasonable rate, we've been quoted $1200 which for a small outfit like ours is too expenisive. Can anyone help with any contacts

Hi Endeavour Theatre,
I see that you've invited comment on this matter in two locations in this internet site -- Why do people insist on multiple-posts? Is it the "if you throw enough mud, some of it sticks principle"? It only clutters, otherwise good, bulletin boards.
That said, I have been treasurer of our (Melbourne-based) theatre company for a couple of years. Whilst I do not claim to have all the answers, I am happy to share my experience with you if you need help planning your budgets. There are always fixed expenses (such as the insurance) which must be addressed when planning income and expenses.
