I have no interest in this topic however the comments about using names without permission made me laugh.
Unless there is a court order suppressing a persons name from publication, you can use any individuals name as long as the comment is not malicious or derogatory. If the individuals in question have stated publically their intentions and it is well known to All in lil old Adelaide, therefore those conveying their message it is not an offense, with or without permission. As myspace was mentioned, Renee's post could be placed on there for all to see, its no different.
The media uses and prints names of individual continually without permission.
My friend who just completed NIDA Acting found a story about himself in the Sydney Morning Herald recently, it was about how a NIDA grad had landed his first acting job in LA. It named him. He did not give his permission and more people read that than this forum.
Brittany Spears doesnt give permission for photos and accusation to be printed in magazines.
