I never meant to imply that Renee was being malicious. In fact, knowing both of the people in question, I can state that at least one of them would love it that their successs is being publicised! My point was more towards the dangerous nature of naming people without their permission. You're right, a lot of people don't think, or worse, think that it doesn't matter, but you never know who could be reading. And as far as keeping in touch with people, might I suggest MySpace? You can search for people you've lost touch with, and as long as they want you to know about what they're up to, it's a really easy way to stay updated. (as long, of course, as they use it too... but what actor/singer/performer doesn't want to promote theselves to everyone they know? I know I do ;-) )
