Help Save Harbour Theatre

As reported here, and this week on the front page of both of Fremantle's local papers, Harbour Theatre may have to move from the Princess May Building. While negotiations and discussions are still under way between the Fremantle Education Centre, Fremantle City Council and Harbour Theatre we need your help and support. Without an alternative, and suitable venue for us to perform within the Fremantle region we face the very real (but unwanted) prospect of closing and joining the ranks of other community programs that have recently been closed in Fremantle (ie. history museum, car museum, energy museum). We need to maintain the pressure on the Fremantle Council and ask all our friends in the ITA to help us. As I'm not sure how to add links to this website, I've placed a list of the Fremantle Elected members on the Harbour Theatre web site (www.harbourtheatre.org.au). Please contact them and show the council that losing Harbour Theatre would be a sad day indeed. Thank you for your support Ciao Rob Tagliaferri

The ITA has sent all member clubs a letter outlining Harbour's plight and asking for their help.  We do not know how many of our fellow clubs have responded to Fremantle Council, We know that some of you have.

Anything that you can do we ask you to do- and do it now. PLEASE.

You don't know if you'll be in the same plight yourselves one day!
