Thank you to Grant

A few months ago, the ITA website turned 10 - that's ten years of looking after us theatre people, ten years of reviews, ten years of a community that has grown and developed. Several of the regular members and I got together and pitched in to get Grant Malcolm, the site admin, a little birthday present, as a way of saying thank you for his continued dedication and hard work making this website what it is. Although the last few months have seen some turbulence, we all appreciate and acknowledge the time, money and hours that have been/are put in towards making this site accessible to everyone. On behalf of Norma, Logos, Taurean, Labrug and myself, we all want to say a big thank you. Grant, I hope the pressie can buy you something to comfort you in those long hours! I invite other members of the community to leave a comment of thanks and show Grant how much we appreciate his voluntary work.

Hi Grant Congrats on passing a milestone with this website which has become something of a cultural institution. However, I know you won't be offended if I gleefully point out a rather ironic glitch. I received an email today , 'This is an automatic reminder from the site theatre australia. You have 3 unread private messages." I dutifully logged on, to find that all three messages were composed last year (..!), one of which was Na's idea about passing the hat around for you. I know I don't find myself with the time to browse here much (when once it seemed I slept here), but I have logged on here at least two or three times this year, and sadly wasn't made aware there were any such messages. No idea why the autobot decided to remind me now, but it effectively prevented me from contributing or at least congratulating. So, thanks for this magnificent website...which still has it's quibbles and flaws like all who use her! Good on ya. Cheers Craig ~<8>-/=====\-----
