Thank you to Grant
Sat, 10 May 2008, 06:33 pmA few months ago, the ITA website turned 10 - that's ten years of looking after us theatre people, ten years of reviews, ten years of a community that has grown and developed.
Several of the regular members and I got together and pitched in to get Grant Malcolm, the site admin, a little birthday present, as a way of saying thank you for his continued dedication and hard work making this website what it is.
Although the last few months have seen some turbulence, we all appreciate and acknowledge the time, money and hours that have been/are put in towards making this site accessible to everyone.
On behalf of Norma, Logos, Taurean, Labrug and myself, we all want to say a big thank you.
Grant, I hope the pressie can buy you something to comfort you in those long hours!
I invite other members of the community to leave a comment of thanks and show Grant how much we appreciate his voluntary work.
SUPERMAN
Mon, 12 May 2008, 07:41 amRunning any simple computer is a nightmare, but to design, organise and maintain a busy program and site, must be horrendous. It is one of these tasks where if everything is going well no one comments, but one glitch and the storm descends.
If I had known, I would have chipped in with a donation to your presentation. However, I missed it and being Scottish by birth, tough luck Grant, too late - but I will definitely give something on your twentieth celebration.
Remember for every letter that you get, there are another 10 most grateful users who are too lazy to write.
VERY many thanks again Grant.
