Hanging Harness Required!!!!

Without giving away too much of the plot, Harbour Theatre is looking for a way of 'hanging' an actor on stage, without actually hanging him in real life (is this what is meant by character assassination?). Does anyone have any suggestions how this can be done?
We've thought of a harness to suspend him, but don't have one. Does anyone know where we can get/hire one, or know of an easier and cheaper way to hang someone. Wed, 1 Nov 2000, 04:18 pmThanks for all the suggestions. It certainly is looking a lot harder to co-ordinate that I first thought (thanks Joe now I feel terrified as well!!) In regards to lighting effect, etc, that might be a safer and better way to do it.
