hi everyone...

of the people who auditioned for MT at waapa and received callbacks but were unsuccessful in the end, what are you doing with yourself now in terms of gaining experience? singing classes? dancing? And if so, who with? also, are you getting roles in productions?

cheers,
A

Depends what you want out of a course. I went to Brent Street, I can dance very well but when I go to auditions I am up against pretty strong actors and singers. Although it was great at BS I am now studying full time singing and acting. If you want a career in MT you need the strength in all areas but acting and singing to me is most important.

Thats what I have found anyway. Others may not have.

Do whats right for you, the areas you are interested in but beware the casting agents in Sydney are looking for stronger acting and singing.

In WA I am not familiar with any other course Im sorry.

Hey SL my friends sister started at WAAPA last week in the Cert 2 MT.

If your in Perth I recommend you do the WAAPA mid year course which goes for a week. My friend did it last year and loved it.
