Sun, 12 Feb 2006, 04:30 pmHeaded out to Campbelltown fri night as I read they were doing my fave show of all time, RENT!, nervous and excited to see what they had done with Larsen's brilliance... Not only did they far surpass two previous productions of RENT! I have seen recently, but made me laugh, cry and moo! They didn't just play roles, they appeared to be LIVING them... Voices were varied, but beautiful, raw and passionate, relationships unfolded before and I actually believed them - Maureen and Joanne were just perfect, not butch and sterotypical, angel and Collins ripped my heart apart and Roger and Mimi burned me! The ensemble came together tightly, voices meshed in hot harmonies which tingled the spine... all up a fantastic performance! No day but today!

This forum thing is the most disgusting thing I have ever come across.
Firstly, thankyou to all of the comments from the audience, if you liked it great if you didn't, I can only speak for myself, I will strive to be a lot more entertaining and to to reach your expectations.
Now to the 'nitty gritty', the last time I was on this website was straight after the show ended, because I have been to busy, and all I can say is Wow, this is the biggest amount of petty @!#$ i have ever come across... all that he said she said crap written in most of the comments is absolutely dreadful...
all of you people up above that say your full professional, get over it, if you were absolute professionals then you wouldn't be here on this website and you most certainly would not write the crap you have written, and also @!#$ like this does not happen in the real 'Professional' world.
Another note, WTF 'Burdon', do u work? when you work who is your customer?, When you take money for a provided service whether it be serving drinks or putting on a show u are WORKING and wtf do they teach u in hospitality?????? the customer is always right! u always take their crap! its the same @!#$ here! if someone doesn't like it u put up with it, just like everyone else has. You think ur the only one that has had CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM thrown at them in this forum? just about every lead has and everyone has accepted it and moved on politely, wat do u do? ABUSE! and create a BAD NAME for the group.
Dear Cast, Band, Executives, SCREW IT everyone that somehow had someting to do with RENT - ONE of the BEST SHOWS I HAVE EVER WORKED ON! ........................................u know whats really F***ing sad, I came on here after hearing about some blow up at the Menzies......from a person THAT WASN'T EVEN THERE! thats right dirty washing hung out for everyone to see, yer yer and I know rumours spread like wild fire in Ctown but after reading 'Burdon''s last comment I have found out that the Rumour is true.
Someone tell me wtf is theatre all about, cause if this petty @!#$ is central to it you can count me out.
