My Unfair Lady

I went to My Fair Lady on Friday night- not expecting alot, but I was blown away. Everything seemed so fine tuned. The sets WERE sensational. The tallent was AMAZING. Ascot scene - to die for. The actors were Magnificent!
Liza was excellent! her voice was beautifull. and she carried the role so well. I never got sick of watching her. Her costumes/hats etc were sensational! those of the whole casts were.
Higgins was also very good. Infact Higgins and Pikkering work very well togeather! they complimented one another. As did Mrs Pearce who really stood out on the stage. - the whole cast did!
Doolittle simply was the doolittle from the movie.... were did they find him? Just GREAT.
Freddy- WOW. what a voice! such clear diction. In acting and singing I could hear every word. So romantic. I wanted to see him on stage more. He was fresh and alive.
The chorus were very good. Well done to the orchestra. They really were an orchestra of dreams. And esspecially the director/ choreographer.
It was an wonderfull, feel good show. I loved it!
