No one can argue that Perth is the greatest place in the world to live. The relaxed, downbeat lifestyle attracts all but the most ardent anal retentives. Given half the chance, I'm sure most of us would spend all our time in boardshorts & bathers. Unfortunately, we're often constrained by the vagaries of fashion and the vicissitudes of the weather. Have you, like Dean Schulze, ever wished you could spend July in a bikini?

Well wish no more! Blak Yak Theatre is proud to announce auditions (on May 4) for our next production, "Psycho Beach Party." A comic parody of 1960s beach movies and horror movies, "Psycho Beach Party" started life as a stageplay in the '80s, spawning an underground cult movie starring Thomas Gibson (Dharma & Greg), Nicholas Brendon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under).

Just in case there are a few of you out there who are confused, this is an audition for a PLAY, not a movie. Blak Yak is doing the stage play of Psycho Beach Party.

So if anyone was too scared to audition, thinking it was a movie, drop Nick a line and book yourself a time. There are still spots available on Sunday 4th of May. If you can't make the Sunday we can make alternative arrangements.
