when certain people audition for certain plays and they are not cast they still expect to receive a courtesy call from the director. manners go a long way, especially for super sensitive and shaky performers

Personally, if a didnt call me back, I'd question whether i wanted to work with them anyway.
I'd wonder how they will treat their actors when things start getting stressed and the 'not enough time' scenario sets in during the weeks leading up to a production.
Ive always been called back, even if its after the one week period and you know you didnt get the part anyway, it still counts.
Everybody deserves a certain level of respect.
