Dance Venue
Thu, 21 Sept 2000, 01:05 amI need a bit of help. I run a full-time dance studio and I'm looking for a decent venue for our dancing conert at the end of the year. We would need a stge of decent size, probably to fit up to 20 very mobile children at a time, and a seating capacity of about 200. I have previously hired the Marloo Theatre but have outgrown it, unfortunately.
I'm willing to use Halls, school auditoriums, anthing!
Can you suggest anything?
Oh, by the way, I'm located in the Hills, but anything eastern suburbs will do

RE: Dance Venue
Thu, 21 Sept 2000, 03:44 pmWhy don't you try the Sport and Rec Centre, which is the Calisthenics Club's, in Midvale as the theatre in there is usually used for Dnace comps and is very good, also consider Private Schools, ie Penhros, Perth College and St Mary's as they all have fully equipped theatre's which they hire out, I'm from Sth of the river so I don't know many Nth of the river places sorry. My dance school always hire's the Burswood, and before that the Concert hall! Which are excellent venues as well! I hope this helps! Goodluck!
