How do i become a Make-up artist?
Sun, 2 Oct 2005, 07:48 pmI hear you can go to London and do make-up artist work exprience. is this true? and is there an another way i can achieve a certificate in make-up(in theatre and tv)? a workshop or would i have to go to uni? I really have no idea so could someone give me some advice.

Tue, 4 Oct 2005, 08:57 amThere are make-up schools and academy's you can attend which will teach you anything and everything you need to know about make-up. You can even get a diploma if you want to. Start by looking for any schools that are near you that you can attend.
You can do work experience for Make-up anywhere! You just need to find a way in, maybe by offering your services for free but there are basics that you will just need to know! Make-up isnt an easy industry and the more you know, the more valuable you are.
