Whats Happened to Brent Street
Tue, 31 Jan 2006, 12:26 pmHey I have just spoken to a couple of girls who have left Brent Street before they finished the performing arts course, they said its gone down hill. Does anyone in NSW know whats happening there. When you read some of the musical theatre programs that tell you where the artists have studied, some say Brent Street but have moved on to other teaching facilities to study musical theatre.
I was looking at Brent Street but they say its just a dance school with fifty or more to a class. Its alot of money to pay for "just a dance school" And not even their professionals are getting any work

first of all
while u guys are on this stupid website bitching about brent st
those brent st kids are working their asses of doing the thing they lovethe most
how dare u put down those kids n that school
from what i hav read so far
U GUYS NEED A FREAKN LIFE
do u honestly think that the real world is an easy journey
THINK AGAIN DARLINGS
brent st is the closest thing to the real worl
so get used to it
secondly tdhs is an exzclusive sckool....it i sonly small but that is due to the audition process in which u need to go thru
from all that i hav heard tdhs is the best thing there is!! the students there work harder than those in a normal high skool in the academics and are recieving a high standard level of teachers
thirdly with the bitchness
WAKE UP SUNSHINE!!
name one place where there is no bitching
n if u can name one
UR BULLSHITTING
u guys who r bitching are acting like little princess and realli need to wake up n smell the coffee
if u actualli want to succeed in the performing arts industry and u want to make it there u r going to experiece bitchines, u r going to get insulted and critiscied... if u cant cope at brent st....shit man id hate to see u in the real world...iv been to other dance skools n u kno what
when i first came to brent i was scared..i was scared of the so call ed 'bitchiness' i had heard about
but all that i heard was lies
LIES LIES LIES
sure theres bitchiness here n there
but i can not tell u how much love there is there
to all those brent st students
u guys are at the top
dnt let these ppl bring u down
all they r doin is sitting on their fat asses doing NOTHING while u guys are out there. hungry and pasisonate about what u r doing
n that is the exact attitude that is going to get u where u guys are supposed to be
another thing i want to say is regarding the full time course...i am going to admit that i did not think that this yr was as gwd as last yr
but jee was i wrong
They are such an amazing an talented bunch
They are an inspiration to us too
did u not see their performances at city of sydney??
that new ed5 course is a walk in the path
Yeah u can go to ed5 and hav a smile on ur face the whole time while learning how to do a single pirouette without falling
or u can go for the real deal and go thru the hardships n struggle
brent st has the passion...the hunger...the love for what they do
isnt that what u wanna see
instead of a bunch of 18 - 20 yr olds running around on stage like a bunch of clowns
(sound familiar ed5 full timers?>
) grow up would u
i am proud to be a brent st person
and i hav the up most respect for the sister
u guys hav made it the place it is today
all i hav seen is brent st strengthening
BRENT ST IS AT THE TOP
AND THATS WHERE ITS STAYING
THOUGHT ID WARN YA
