Whats Happened to Brent Street
Tue, 31 Jan 2006, 12:26 pmHey I have just spoken to a couple of girls who have left Brent Street before they finished the performing arts course, they said its gone down hill. Does anyone in NSW know whats happening there. When you read some of the musical theatre programs that tell you where the artists have studied, some say Brent Street but have moved on to other teaching facilities to study musical theatre.
I was looking at Brent Street but they say its just a dance school with fifty or more to a class. Its alot of money to pay for "just a dance school" And not even their professionals are getting any work

this is the first time i have come on this site n it looks 2 me that all u people have nothing better to do with your lives......it seems that there is a fair bit of jelousy goin on from other JUST DANCING SCHOOLS......(brent st has a accedemic high school, a fulltime performing arts course,a fulltime ballet course and a part time school just for u people that are saying its just a dancing school) so maybe instead of wasting your time coming on here and bitching about brent st why dont you all go and work on your career and stop trying to put brent st down.
if all you people were at the city of sydney eistedford you would have seen that brent streets fulltime course (that im actually doing at the moment) won the open tap, open contemporary, and open song and dance (that we have now won in this eistedford for over the last 10 years) we also got into the finals for the open jazz.......so anyone who thinks brent st is over rated, go and get your facts strait......yeah maybe other dancing schools have just as good talent but no where else in sydney will you find a dancing school that teachers you to dance from the heart
hope i have made my point, now go and get to dance classes get better at dancing, and when brent street doesnt get anywhere in competitions then you can turn around and say we are over rated
thank for your wasted time
