Hey just wondering if anyone knows anything about the LaSalle course in Singapore for Musical theatre. I read their web-page but was wanting a little more information. Anyone going there next year? Does anyone know what the course is like and whether its worth going for? Any opinions / insights welcome. Cheers!

Let's not have any more of this "(Name of institution here) is so much better than (name of institution here)!" It's stupid and pointless. In the end it's the student who decides what they get out of the course, and yes, whilst some courses can have better lecturers or better structures, or whatever, it still comes down to the determination of the aspiring performer. It's ridiculous to sit there saying that there are schools out there better than WAAPA- sorry, Paz, but you wouldn't know unless you'd been to all three, would you? If you actually have, I'd love to hear reasons as to why they are better than WAAPA. I don't know why "better than WAAPA" should be on the criteria for a good performing arts school. WAAPA is great. Other schools are great too. Shocking, I know! Everyone needs to get over it. Sometimes I wonder if the people who post around here have personal vendettas against WAAPA becasue a lot of posts seems primarily concerned with defaming the school. Are there just a lot of embittered ex-auditionees or what?
