LaSalle Singapore
Thu, 28 Dec 2006, 12:57 pmHey just wondering if anyone knows anything about the LaSalle course in Singapore for Musical theatre. I read their web-page but was wanting a little more information. Anyone going there next year? Does anyone know what the course is like and whether its worth going for? Any opinions / insights welcome.
Cheers!

Asta what have you got to lose. Of all the Asian countries Singapore is the safest, most civilized, clean and very welcoming. Any MT course is worth doing and Im sure LS will be great, you can only try it out and if its not for you, you can come home.
I suppose it depends how much you want something and how hard your prepared to work. Or maybe the doubt is leaving your family, which I can understand.
For those saying a place isnt good when ppl leave, to me, doesnt always reflect the establishment but those who are either home sick or dont want to do the hard yrds. Just like any school you have your good and bad teachers, thats life unfortunately.
I am a firm believer of making up my own mind. If I believed everything I read I wouldnt be anywhere. Everyone has an opinion, and thats fine but we are all individuals and we need to find out things for ourselves and make our own judgements. If they are wrong, well we have then learnt a valuable lesson and move on.
I know it must be hard to make a decision but you have time dont you? doesnt the course start later in the year?
Good Luck and let us know what you decide
