Hats of to Karen Godfrey
What a great show

Catrina what can we say from the moment the show started to the finnish you captivated your audience, your take on Eliza Doolittle was magnificent.

for the rest of the cast as there was so many I thought you were all great.

Unfortunatly your backstage crew let you down a bit, with curtain trouble and noise.

Also a bit dissapointed in the band, seem to be out of tune a lot, the singers did well with what they had.

Got blinded by there lights maybe put some black shades on them to prevent the spill on to the stage and into the audiences eyes.

All in all though a great show.

I thought the set was pretty good.

Review - My Fair Lady , Pinjarra

well what a major disapiontment. Where do I begin. ok, the sets and the costumes were all very good but the band really had struggles in keeping the tunes together as one . It was all over the place , just a piano in this case would have been more than sufficiant.

The leads -
Sean Read did I pretty good job as higgins but was let down heaps by eliza doolittle . She was far to old and couldnt sing to save her life. Her notes were off , her dialogue delivery was poorly done , her accent weakened in parts and she was too corny . There wasnt enough deep connection with her character , try hard imitation of hepburn. She let the whole cast down and being as old as what she was played a huge part in all of it , and she was apparently trained in england ? it was gross to hear her sing one note , she really shouldnt have another lead. pickering , well he was good , a little bit boring in some parts but a decent effort . Alfie doolittle , also a decent job along with freddy , although freddy had a very nice voice , there wasnt a deep connection with the character and in the song "show me" the relationship between eliza and freddy needed alot more .

The chorous , what a great job ! if it wasnt for oyu guys there wouldnt have been a show to even watch . The lighting was fine and there was a few microphone hiccups .

Well done to everyone on the show , to the director - Cast the right people . If the main lead isn't right it lets the whole show down no matter how much supporting leads are outstanding . The most decent lead to watch was higgins , the rest needs alot of work .
