What a great show
Catrina what can we say from the moment the show started to the finnish you captivated your audience, your take on Eliza Doolittle was magnificent.
for the rest of the cast as there was so many I thought you were all great.
Unfortunatly your backstage crew let you down a bit, with curtain trouble and noise.
Also a bit dissapointed in the band, seem to be out of tune a lot, the singers did well with what they had.
Got blinded by there lights maybe put some black shades on them to prevent the spill on to the stage and into the audiences eyes.
All in all though a great show.
I thought the set was pretty good.

My Fair Lady- Murray Music and Drama Club 2005:
I also saw My Fair Lady and thought it was a great show. Congrats to Karen Godfrey, cast, band, crew & everyone involved.
The leads did a great job, more than reasonable in my opinion. I was particularly pleased with the performances of Sean Read, Catrina Baxter, Alan Tapper and the guy who played Alfred Doolittle. Read was witty & bloody hilarious at times as Higgins. He has remarkable stage presence and a natural ability with characterization. Baxter in my opinion was a duplicate of the film version with Hepburn as Eliza, but that's what I wanted to see. A pretty voice too. The guy who played Alfred is just full of talent - it's like he was born to play that role. And Tapper - what a voice!
The chorus scenes were quite engaging and they worked well with the leads at times. Loved "Ascot Gavotte" (is that how you spell it? :P) Chorus harmonies sounded great.
Loved the costumes and sets! I thought the band did a reasonable job, yes they were out alittle at times but nothing too noticeable or inconsistent. Overall band was entertaining and on the mark. Play it again Sam!
Great show- I thoroughly enjoyed it! BRAVO
