Hey everyone!

I saw Saturday Night Fever last night and it was an awesome show with fantastic dance numbers and Bee Gee's hits, the only down side being that there was hardly a plot but hey its all about the dancing!

The leads were amazing, particulary Adam-jon Fiorentino, who carried the show in the role of Tony Manero and Dale Pengelly was hilarious in the comedic role of disco DJ Monty!

I wont say anymore, you just have to see it. The show is in preview season until the Jan 5th which means all tockets r $65, so cheap for a show so good!

I too found the accent thing very annoying. Particularly during the dialogue between Tony and Stephanie. I wouldn't call it nit-picking because it was quite obvious. Funny, would've thought the director would have picked it up after so many runs.

Also noticed that some of the notes were flat in the chorus numbers. Still, I was very impressed with the cast's ability to perform such energetic dance numbers and sing at the same time!
