Hello fellow and other worldly thespians, I'm a Canadian actor that has been intriqued by Australia for quite a long time. Everything that I hear about Australia is fantastic. Living, the landscape, temperature, the people. So I wanted to ask you guys how is the work in the film and theatre industry? I heard that it was really vibrant? Is that true?
At the moment I am between agents, but that being said I am mainly interested is independent films.
Any thoughts or your take on what the over all community is like would be appreciated. and thank you in advance.

As for the industry here... well, it's not that great. Finding work is tough. Though there's plenty to be involved with here, you'll find competition is high for paid work. The link above will give more info.
