Congratulations to all the nominees and winners last night. Special hat tip to Darlington Theatre for the taking out Best Play & Director. Its great to see Goldfields with some awards in their luggage to take back home as well. The ITA comittee is to be commended on organising an excellent evenings entertainment.

I think the release of a partial listing of nominations is actually quite good. Just enough to get people interested.

However the timing would be better toward the end of the booking period, or even after the booking period. It's a celebration of theatre, not a competition after all and we should really only go because we all are congratulating each other, and because we love theatre....
