Congratulations to all the nominees and winners last night. Special hat tip to Darlington Theatre for the taking out Best Play & Director. Its great to see Goldfields with some awards in their luggage to take back home as well. The ITA comittee is to be commended on organising an excellent evenings entertainment.

It's a pleasure to be among so many talented people who work so hard for theatre in one way or another. It was a well run show (the backstage crew made it seem easy), good to watch (my 11 year old grand-daughter was enthralled, as was I) and a lot of good people were acknowledged for their efforts this year. And I for one think that releasing the nominees was a great idea, didn't it get people talking early....
