Nope, not an oversight on behalf of the ITA committee at all. Choreography, lights, sound, make-up, and others have been frequently discussed. Well, yes, we probably could give awards recognising every single aspect of theatre but we’d probably end up with a seven-hour show and would have to charge $100 per ticket to pay for all the trophies, engraving, certificates, etc. As with all things, the line has to be drawn somewhere to make the event manageable. If that’s still not satisfactory, then: a) I refer you to the afore-mentioned Adjudicators’ Awards… b) Feel free to come to the ITA AGM, get involved, and work with us to implement whatever changes you think might be an improvement.
