My final statement on this matter:

I do not deny the audition was a fraud. I don't even know why people feel they need to point that out, I admitted that hours after the initial post. I do apologise if anyone was offended or personally affected by this and encourage anyone to email me personally if they feel they were. I don't think a public forum is the place to talk about it.

I do not apologise for the whole thing though. The story will feature in the February edition of BroadwayAustralia.com, if all goes to plan. The plan was to have it out in January or even sooner, but this story will not be some fly by night thing, it's a huge story with a lot of opinions and quotes from industry experts. We are waiting for final quotes from one of the industry experts involved in this special investigation before we to print on the story.

I am sure my knockers would prefer I put up a half-hearted story that proves nothing, but I won't give them the pleasure.

Thanks to all the people who decided they'd call me a wanker, a fraud etc etc. After all, you people surely know everything about me from one post on a board. I mean, I should just ignore the people I actually know, or those who have known me for more than five minutes and go on your opinions, right?

Re-read your posts. If you truly believe you are being 100% fair on this matter, then I am never going to please you. Then again, you people are not the people I try to please.

Do I end it here or play the ego boosting game for a minute? Let's go with the latter, just to indulge myself.

I have posted tonnes of audition notices on this website over the years. Many of the people who have auditioned for shows I have worked on and have been successful have come from this website. Any thanks anywhere? Of course not. But one step people deem as wrong, and they want to crucify you.

I urge you to read our website, www.performingartspublicity.com, where you will see the things me and my team and collegues are trying to do for theatre in this country. It's a lot more than any of you will ever do.
