Amadeus II - The Wrath of Mozart
Tue, 10 July 2001, 09:44 amTypical. "Theatre Classifieds isn't used much. Lets post a message reminding people about Amadeus there."
And then in a day or so, it gets pushed off the bottom of the page.
Opening night for AMADEUS is tomorrow (Wednesday, July 11).
Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre - only 20 minutes from Perth (10 minutes up Great Eastern Hwy, 10 minutes up Kalamunda Rd). If you've never been to this wonderful venue, here's your chance to sample one of the nicest auditoriums in Perth (okay, it's not quite La Premiere, but still, it's a great venue for an audience).
Come and see the incomparable Eliot McCann as he makes the role of Salieri his own. (If you know Eliot, you KNOW he's good. If you don't know him, just come along to see what sort of esoteric megalomaniac is behind many of the - unconventional - postings on this page.)
Oh yeah, the other cast members are good too, particularly Shenandoah Bruce (Einstein from KADS' award-winning "Picasso at the Lapin Agile") who legally obtained the soul of Tom Hulce in a gentlemen's wager, and Emma Farrell as Mozart's wife, who has to put up with the both of them.
Don't regret missing this show.

RE: Amadeus V - The Magic Flute's Dark Years

Jarrod Buttery deviously scribbled:
Newcomer Amanda Tyler handles more roles and costume changes than Eliot, Shenandoah and Emma put together. And handles them with ease! Where would we be without her?
Where would we be?? Most likely still at the Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre- but it wouldn't be as much fun.
See this show. Not only for Emma, Amanda or li'l ol' me, but for Shenandoah Bruce's exquisite portrayal of the World's Greatest Composer.
See it. Book now. NOW!! I know it's 12.20am but Jarrod won't mind...
