Seeking Breakable Props

Looking to see if anyone knows of a place I can but safe breakable props, such as glassess, etc.
We are shooting a Bourne style fight scene and would like things to BREAK! :)
We are in Melbourne. Any ideas?

Small suggestion
Sat, 24 Oct 2009, 12:40 pmSmall suggestion...if a bit of furniture or door needs to be broken and it has panels replace them with balsa wood (ie: doors often have four inset panels, a person could put their head through one of them if it was balsa wood in relative safety). Or replace a broom handle with balsa wood and then break over other persons head. Have you gained the services of a stunt person? They should have some ideas. Above all you want your performers to be safe...
