Disgruntled??
Sun, 21 Sept 2008, 09:55 amWalter Plinged (yet another great unknown): A taste of sour grapes? Yours sound like the words of an unsuccessful entrant... perhaps even more than once? The performers chosen as the final 20 certainly are the best of the best... or they wouldn't be there - regardless of their home state! (and, just as a general aside - as a Theatre Industry employee, I know that the graduates that come out of WAAPA and the other training camps in W.A. are the most sought after performers and technical crew in Australia. But, by your reckoning, I guess it is "stupid" to suggest that this could be because they might just be "the best".)
