Moving to Perth
Sat, 12 May 2007, 10:21 pmHey there, I may be making the big move from East Coast to West Coast within the next few months, and i know the theatre scene over there is fairly big. I would be living in or around Perth, and would be looking to find a theatre company to get involved with. I am heavily involved here in my home town of Newcastle in both directing and performing so would like some advice from the people who live over there as to where i would head for this.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Wed, 23 May 2007, 08:39 amEstablished Theatres would include - Garrick (Guildford), Marloo (Greenmount), Stirling Players (Innaloo), Limelight (Wanneroo), Playlovers (Floreat), Grads (UWA, Nedlands), Barking Gecko (Subiaco)
There are a number of other smaller groups such as Endeavour Theatre opperating out of the Apex Hall, North Beach. I am sure that others can fill in some of the blanks in this list.
