Hiring an Agent
Mon, 11 Sept 2006, 08:37 pmHey
I was just wondering what are people's thoughts on Agents
Are they worth hiring or should i just search endlessly for the Auditions myself.
What is the best way of going about finding an agent?
Do people have any suggestions? I would love to here from both sides people with agents and those without
yours sincerly

Agents
Tue, 12 Sept 2006, 10:56 amIf you wantan agent, visit www.alliance.org.au to see the list of registered agents. Get a great headshot, get your CV and showreel ready, then send it off to all of them, asking for an appointment to meet up. If any try to charge you an upfront fee, RUN!!! Good luck :) I don't have an agent but search endlessly for auditions, promote myself like a business and make and keep great contacts. I am, however, looking for an agent that I can trust and get along with - and the more work I can pick up in the meantime the better to build up a great showreel - to secure a great agent.
