Managing a company on Theatre Australia lets you add productions and auditions, manage your team, and connect with your audience.

Getting Company Admin Access

Does your company exist on Theatre Australia?
│
├─ YES → Visit your company page
│ Click "Request admin access"
│ A Theatre Australia administrator will review and approve
│ You'll receive an email when approved
│
└─ NO → Visit theatreoz.store/companies/new
          Fill in your company details
Your account becomes the first company admin

Multiple admins — companies can have more than one admin. Once you're a company admin, you can approve other admins from your company's edit page.

Adding a Production

From your company's edit page, you have two options:

Add manually — fill in the production form with title, dates, venue, description, director, cast, and crew.

Import from a website — if your company has a website with production listings, you can scan it automatically.

Import from website:
│
├─ Go to My Companies → [Your Company] → Import Productions
├─ Enter your website URL
├─ Select: "This page only" or "Entire website"
├─ Confirm you're authorised to share this content
├─ Click "Scan for productions"
│ (This takes 30–60 seconds)
│
└─ Review the extracted productions:
├─ Check details are correct (title, dates, director, cast)
├─ Edit any fields that need adjusting
├─ Uncheck any items that aren't productions
└─ Click "Import selected" → created as drafts for your review

Imported productions are created as drafts — they're not visible to the public until you publish them. Review and publish from My Companies → [Your Company] → Draft Productions.

Managing Productions

From a production's edit page you can:

  • Edit all production details
  • Manage the cast and crew credits list
  • Review and approve member credit requests
  • Set up audition sessions and booking

Adding an Audition

From your company's edit page, click "Add audition". Fill in:

  • Production name and director
  • Audition dates and location
  • Payment type
  • Details for auditionees

Booking method — choose how auditionees contact you:

  • Theatre Australia slot booking — auditionees book a time slot directly on the site. You set up sessions with date, time range, and slot duration.
  • Manage externally — provide a URL, email, or phone number for bookings.

Setting Up Audition Sessions

When using Theatre Australia slot booking:

Creating an audition session:
│
├─ Go to the audition edit page
├─ In the Booking Method section, click "+ Add session"
├─ Set: date, start time, end time, slot duration
├─ Optional: add a break period (e.g. 1:00pm – 1:30pm lunch)
├─ Set max per slot (1 for individual, higher for group calls)
├─ Add notes for auditionees
└─ Click "Generate slots"
Slots are created automatically based on your settings

Reviewing Audition Bookings
