blue room management

Although I have been going to the Blue Room for years, one was never really aware of who was running the place. On my last two visits I have been greeted by first name - even though I am not sure who the lady is that is greeting me, or how she knows my name.
I was offered a membership form - my previous membership had lapsed and in an attempt to economise, one cuts out the things that have least effect on you life. I filled the form in there and then. Paid the fee and received the new membership card within two days.
The show is either started with a welcome from 'management' or a final 'thankyou all for coming'. Brief, to the point, but it makes one feel as though you are part of an interested organisation.
I have no real faults with the previous managers, but it was always a neutral visit.
If you walk into a shop and get served politely and with correct change, but there is no smile, banter, discussion of the weather etc then there is no complaint, but no great desire to return to that establishment either.
Good luck Blue Room
