Loan of follow spot
Sat, 3 July 2004, 09:14 amI belong to a group called Bullseye Productions, who do variety shows in conjunction with the ocean reef lions club, to raise funds for children with special needs, to buy equipment to assist them to walk, etc.
We do shows approx once/twice a month, and would like to enhance our production by using a follow spot to help light up some of the dark areas of our stage.
We use basic lighting equipment, and think it would help greatly, so we can follow singers through the audience etc.
If you could assist us in any way by lending, selling cheaply, giving, or putting us in touch with someone who has connections to get a basic follow spot, we would appreciate it greatly.

Christine and I now have several leads (and umpteen alternatives) to follow up on. Special thanks go to Don Allen and to David & Robyn Ashton for their invaluable assistance. It's great to see so many putting time aside to help a small charity group like ours.
